Here’s the special treat everyone found waiting for them on the final day of retreat. I used red & white melting chocolate and drizzled it over Oreo’s. This gave them kind of a gingham check look. I then put 3 cookies in a Clear Tiny Treat Box, tied it up with gingham ribbon and added a little tag that I stamped with the More Than Chocolate stamp set. You may have noticed my signature tag line at the end of every blog post, “Enjoy life, stamp something & eat chocolate.” As far as I’m concerned if you’ve got ink, stamps, paper and chocolate you’ve got it made!
Our dad is a pretty handy guy who loves wood working and helping his daughters when ever he can. We commissioned him to make these glue holders and bow makers. The glue holders will hold a bottle (or three) of the Multi-purpose Glue and the bow makers make really quick work of tying bows in various sizes. We sold these at the event to anyone who needed them.
We offered a number of ordering specials at retreat, and many took us up on the offers. We offered extra Sale-a-bration items, Grab Boxes (like a grab bag only in a box; filled with 4″ x 6″ designer paper, ribbons, washi tape, embellishments and more), $ off an order of a certain size and of course the Ultimate Bundle which is the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit where for just $99 + tax, everyone could choose any 2 stamp sets of their choice plus $125 in product of their choice for just $99. Of those that attended retreat, 5 purchase the starter kit and joined our team! Yay! This incredible offer is still available until March 31st.
We also offered a chance to win a Stamparatus and a Weekend Tote Bag. Annemarie won the Weekend Tote Bag and Karen won the Stamparauts!
Here’s a picture of all the finished projects and product everyone went home from retreat with!
Here’s a final shot of the room as everyone was saying goodbye to the 12th Annual Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat.
If you’d like to join in on this kind of fun sometime in the future, just pop me an email or leave a comment. I will be doing a Stampin’ Retreat on a cruise ship next January and I’d love to have you join us. That retreat will be called Stamp, Crop & Cruise and I’m just finalizing all of the details on that and will be posting information very soon.
