A few weeks ago when I was playing around in my stampin’ studio, I decided I wanted a card that could be used for male or female and for any occasion (just by swapping out the sentiment). I came up with this card which has a touch of nature and a bit of elegance as well as a fun fold.
My go to stamp set these days, when I’m wanting something masculine is the Rooted in Nature stamp set which I paired with the Natures Poem Designer Series Paper and the Natures Twine. Now, for a feminine flair, I am so on love with the incredibly detailed Stitched Labels Framelits. I think these two new products compliment one another so well on this card. By keeping the color palette neutral, it tends to stay rather gender neutral which is perfect.

The stately tree silhouette is truly the only focal point needed, but since I love texture, I used the Natures Twine, which I tied into a knot, then unraveled the ends so that all 3 plies show.

The Stitched Shapes Framelit piece is attached to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals , so that the finished height of the card is 5-1/2 and it fits into the Very Vanilla Envelopes.
