Toil & Trouble Halloween Suite

Yesterday I shared with you the displays from our Stampin’ Sisters Holiday Hoopla and today I wanted to share some of the close up pictures I took so that you can see the fabulous creations.  First up is the Toil & Trouble Suite which features fun and whimsical Halloween images, lovely designer series paper, sparkly ribbon and more.  Peggy used this suite to create some festive cards, an adorable framed art piece, a scrapbook page and a treat box.  Let’s take a closer look.

This 8″ x 8″ shadow box frame makes the stamped images pop.  Notice lots of layers which add depth and interest.

Don’t you love the look of the Tin Tile Embossing Folder on the Black Foil Sheet for the background?

The Buffalo Plaid stamp makes the perfect background for this card.  Each of the images are part of the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper and were cut out with the coordinating Cauldron Framelits (except the frog which was cut out by hand)

Here we have the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder for the texture in the background and the Spooky Bats Punch came in handy for cutting out the bat.

I had to dig through a bunch of stuff to locate this photo of my kids from about 20 years ago when they were dressed up for Halloween.  I knew this picture would be perfect with the Toil & Trouble Suite.  I love how great the images coordinated with the photo.

Look at the cute Baker’s Box that she colored Granny Apple Green and filled with some yummy treats.  That adorable spider web (I can’t believe I just said that…) it is cut out with the Cauldron Framelits…and don’t you love the sparkly Black Glittered ribbon?

This adorable kitty is from the Trick or Tweet stamp set, but it goes so well with the display, besides it also uses the Toil & Trouble DSP and the same Glittered Ribbon from the suite.

Be sure to come back tomorrow, when I’ll share close up photos of Kim’s Country Lane Suite Display.

  1. Love your Halloween projects! I’ll be copying them for sure. My set of dies does have the framelit for the frog and it shows 9 pieces when you go to order it. I think SU left the frog off their picture! I’d never be able to cut out that tiny frog!

    • Yes Susan, you are correct, the framleits do cut out that particular frog. There are various frogs on the DSP that are jumping, those frogs would need to be cut out by hand.
