This fun card featuring the Birthday Cheer stamp set was quick and easy to make and would work well for a boy or girl just by changing up the card base color.
My color pallet came from the How Sweet it is Designer Series Paper. I layered a 3″ x 4″ piece of the striped paper on the left side of a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White and wrapped a piece of the Coastal Cabana/ Granny Apple Green Reversible Ribbon around it. This reversible ribbon is awesome…It’s a playful reversible satin ribbon with Coastal Cabana on one side with Granny Apple Green stitching. The reverse side is Granny Apple Green with Coastal Cabana stitching…too fun! Next I stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo on a 3-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Whisper White, then layered it on Coastal Cabana cut 3-1/2″ x 2-3/4″. After attaching the sentiment layer, I stamped the party hat from the Birthday Cheer stamp set in Memento ink and got out my Stampin’ Blends to add color to the hat. I used Light Lovely Lipstick and Light Pool Party. I did a little fussy cutting and attached the hat to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The finishing touch was adding some of the Glitter Enamel Dots.
