I’ve been in my Stampin’ Studio all weekend long finishing up all the final details and surprises for our Stampin’ Sisters’ Retreat which is next weekend. There will be 95 of us at the event creating projects that my sister Peggy and I designed. The projects are all cut and bagged (thanks to my niece Katie & Peggy). Peggy has all the directions printed off for all our guests, and my final contribution is making the decorations, gifts and surprises our guests will receive. I will be sharing all the details of Stampin’ Sisters” Retreat starting next Monday.
Because of the prep work that goes into our retreat, I haven’t had time to create things to share with you, so I thought I’d share a pretty card I received from Mary Ann Grimmer in a swap I participated in. This card was created with the Vibrant Vases stamp set and the Vases Builder Punch.
Three Things I Love
Because I can’t take credit for a card someone else has made, I like to share 3 things I love about their card, so here goes:
- I love the color combination Mary Ann used. The card base is Pacific Point, then she added a strips of Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green.
- I love the “pop” of white behind the vases which really make the vases themselves pop.
- I love the use of the Petal Burst Embossing Folder used on the strips of color because (you know me) I love texture and I love how the Petal Burst design ties in with the flowers in the vases.
