Simple Stamping with Wishing You Well stamp set

I really enjoy multiple layers and unique folds and fancy embellishments, but every now and then I’m drawn to simple stamping.  So what is Simple Stamping?  Well, it can be different things to different people.  To me it means one stamp set, just a couple ink pads and maybe a little designer paper.  I created this simple stamping card when I needed a bunch of thank you cards in a very short period of time.  Let’s take a closer look.

Stampin' Up! Wishing You Well stamp set, Stampin' Studio

Color Combo

I started my card with the Whisper White Note cards and envelopes; they come 20 to a package and measure 5″ x 3-1/2″.  I used the Wishing You Well stamp set which was featured in the Holiday catalog.  Great news here is that this stamp set carried over, so even though you won’t find it in the Occasions catalog, it is still available to order.  This stamp set is so elegant yet understated and it’s perfect for simple stamping.  Old Olive and Highland Heather ink are paired with the leaf print from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper and a piece of Highland Heather cardstock.  This little band of DSP embellishment measures just 3/4″ x 3-1/2″ and is a fantastic way to use up those small scraps of paper.

So, what about you?  Are you a simple stamper or do you prefer a more complex type of stamping?
