Stampin’ Sisters Retreat: Fun stuff!

If you stopped by my blog yesterday, I shared a little about our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat we held over the weekend.  Today I want to share some more of the details and fun we had.  Not only are our guest goodie bags filled with all kinds of product, we also do a prize patrol where everyone gets a chance to spin the wheel and win a prize.  Everyone is a winner!

Because our goal is to inspire the attendees with creative projects, we know that by the time the weekend is over, they have long wish lists, so we spoil our guests and offer lots of extra freebies when they place orders…like retired but unused stamp sets, designer paper and more…

…and this year we even offered a card kit where they received the supplies to make these 4 cards featuring the Butterfly Elements.  All they have to do to make the cards is add ink and a greetings stamp set.

We have Peggy’s husband Tony come to sharpen scissors for those that need it.  At just $2 per pair it’s quite a bargain and we kept him busy all Saturday morning.

Everyone is on their own for breakfast and dinner, but we provide a delicious Italian Buffet for lunch.

We offer optional card swapping and this year 66 out of the 93 participated.  The cards were amazing as we have a bunch of uber talented crafters. Once the swapping is done and everyone has a box filled with 66 different cards, we then do a card contest that everyone votes for their favorite card.  From right to left is 3rd place: Pam S, 2nd place: Colleen K, 1st place:  Helen T.  They each received one of the card kits from the catalogs.

Tomorrow I’ll begin to share the projects we created for the 8 classes that were included in retreat, so I hope you’ll be coming back to check them out.
