Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Pumpkin Kits have been around for over 6 years now and let me tell you things have changes quite a bit since they first came out. Paper Pumpkin is a monthly crafting subscription, which will help you to save time and money…and eventually build a collection of versatile Stampin’ Up! crafting supplies. Every month there’s a new kit and just like a present, you never know what you’re getting until you open the package. This month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit, aptly named Hugs From Shelli, was inspired by Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of Stampin’ Up! These are the cards that could be created by following the directions in the kit.
I took some of the elements from the Hugs from Shelli Kit and made the card below.
The Paper Pumpkin Kit included the Hugs from Shelli stamp set and a Stampin’ Spot ink pad and all of the items featured below. The card in the kit is actually a 3″ x 5″ card, so I cut the front off the card and attached it to a layer of Mossy Meadow and then on a Petal Pink card base. The sentiment comes from a brand new stamp set called “to a Wild Rose” which will be available in the Annual Catalog on June 4th.
There are so many things that come in the kits, it’s fun to create alternative ideas like I did. While the May Paper Pumpkin kit with the stamp set and ink spot can’t be ordered now, the refill kit, with everything shown above), is available to order.
