I’ve got a really fun and easy technique to share with you today. Check out “flower buds” on the card below… they’re stamped with a pencil eraser!
To create this card, I stamped the stems from the Enjoy Life stamp set in Gray Granite ink on Whisper White card stock and cut it out using the layering Ovals Framelits. Next I inked up the end of a pencil eraser by tapping it up and down on the Melon Mambo ink pad and simply “stamped” the eraser over the stems. Honestly, it’s that simple! Take a closer look and you may notice the butterfly near the stems…no eraser for that…it’s another one of the images from the Enjoy Life stamp set. The rest of the card was achieved by stamping the sentiment in Melon Mambo ink on Whisper White and wrapping a piece of Gray Granite Ribbon around this piece and securing to the back side. Next I cut out an oval using Melon Mambo, one size larger than the Whisper White Oval, This was attached over the ribbon with Dimensional and the stems image was attached on top. I attached a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock under this and attached the whole thing to a Thick Whisper White card base.Melon Mambo on the Thick Whisper White card base the stamped oval on a Melon Mambo oval.
