For today’s card, I knew I wanted to add a little pizzazz, so instead of a solid color peeking through, i decided to put designer paper behind the cut out of the Tasteful Background dies. I love the way it looks, how about you?
Color Combo
As I was playing around with the die and various stamp sets to use, I thought the die looked a little like seashells, so I went for the Seaside Notions stamp set. The inspiration for my color palette comes from the Woven Thread Designer Series Paper and the colors worked great with the stamped images. I stamped the coral in Calypso Coral and colored it in with a Blender Pen. The sea horse is stamped in Seaside Spray, colored with a Blender Pen and cut out with Paper Snips. The shell is stamped in Crumb Cake and colored with an Aqua Painter for a softer shade.
