Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Card

Today’s card packs a punch with the lacy Bird Ballad Laser-Cut.  It may look complicated but believe me when I say most of the work is already done for you.  This card is part 2 of my 4 part series featuring the Bird Ballad Suite.

Stampin' Up! Free as a Bird stamp set, Bird Ballad Suite, Stampin' Studio

The Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards come in a pretty tin that holds 12 of the lacy laser-cut card bases and 12 scalloped edged Very Vanilla Envelopes.  I added a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the Polka Dotted Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to the backside of the laser cut front of the card.  The Multi-Purpose Glue make attaching the DSP super easy.  Next I stamped the flower and leaf from the Free As a Bird stamp set on Very Vanilla cardstock with Memento Ink and colored the flower with Light Calypso Coral and Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.  The leaves are colored in with the light & Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  Once they were stamped and colored in, I cut them out with Paper Snips and added them to a banner made with the Banner Triple Punch and stamped with the hello sentiment.  The banner, leaves and flower are all popped up off the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tomorrow’s Bird Ballad Suite card will feature a “window ” card that I really think you’re going to like.  See ya then!
