Today is the 4th and final day of my Bird Ballad Suite of cards. I’ve been featuring all of the products from this suite all week long and today I’ve got this fun fold card for you.
The base of this card is a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Pool Party. On top of that I attached a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White that I embossed with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.
Next is a 2-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Old Olive which is scored and folded in half at 4-1/4″. I attached a 2-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Bird Ballad DSP to the outside of this Old Olive card front and a piece of Whisper White on the inside for a note to be written on. This card flap was then attached to the card base. Now for the stamping! The birds on a branch from the Free As a Bird stamp set make such a pretty focal point, especially when its die cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. After stamping it in Memento ink, I colored it with Stampin’ Blends Markers and layered it on a Pool Party die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also used Dimensionals to attach the die-cuts to the front of the Old Olive card flap. I finished the card off with one of the Bird Ballad Trinkets tied with the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.
