All about Pale Papaya

Each month, for those that are members of my In Color Club, we focus on a single new In Color.  In July the focus is on Pale Papaya.  Not only did all In Color Club Members receive this card from me this month, they also got a full package of the Pale Papaya Cardstock and Open Weave Ribbon, Pale Papaya Ink Pad and Refill, Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack, Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write Marker, Pale Papaya Jewels and an extra gift of a package of the Matte Black Dots.

Stampin' Up! Sweet as a Peach stamp set, Pale Papaya, Stampin' Studio

Because this card is focused on Pale Papaya, the only other color I added was the Pear Pizzazz for the leaves and stem.  Let’s take a close look t all the product used on this card;

The Pale Papaya card base was textured with the exquisite Stitched Greenery Die run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  See the swirly leafy texture?  It’s a die that acts more like an embossing folder because it doesn’t cut anything except the little stitches and it is a MUST HAVE item.   I used the Sweet as a Peach stamp set as it was just calling for Pale Papaya Ink.  The Basic White cardstock adds a bit of contrast in the matting and focal image.  Next up is the plaid printed Pale Papaya Designer Series Paper.  This paper is a treat because it coordinates but doesn’t steal the show.  You know me and that I like to add embellishments to my creations, so I’ve used the Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon, which makes such pretty bows and adds just the right amount of shine.  The images and sentiment are stamped on a circle which was die-cut with the Layering Circles Dies and that scalloped circle behind the main image, is from the same die set.  I love using scallop circles with the regular circles, for a pretty layered effect.  The finishing touch on this card is the addition of a few of the Pale Papaya In Color Jewels.
