Today I am celebrating two of my team members with this card I created using the Sweet Farewell stamp set. Every year Stampin’ Up! offers all demonstrators an opportunity to earn an all expense paid trip for two to various locations around the world. The most recent trip we were able to earn is a week long cruise to the Western Caribbean on the Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. I am so excited that next May, Dave and I will get to travel with my sister, Peggy Murwin and her husband Tony and my good friend Amanda Waldhart and her husband Chris. Peggy, Amanda and I have earned the annual trips year after year (thanks to our loyal followers like you) and we love traveling together, so I wanted to create something that honored our love of travel.
Color Combo
I chose to use the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper, (which is an exclusive host product) because of the bright and festive color combination. Next I used the Scalloped Contours Dies with Bermuda Bay card stock – if you don’t own this set of dies, let me just say, you NEED to get it! I use these dies more than any other. They add a special pop to anything you want to mat.
All of the adorable images and the sentiment come from the Sweet Farewell stamp set and were stamped in Memento Ink and colored in with Stampin’ Blends before doing a bit of “fussy cutting” and popping them up with Dimensionals. For the Bon Voyage banner I colored markers directly onto the red rubber stamp before stamping it on the banner.
