I was playing with some retiring product along with some new product and came up with this sweet card for our first grandchild, a baby girl, Quinn who was born just yesterday! Quinn is beautiful and loved so much already. I was inspired by a card I received from my Stampin’ Sisters team member Samantha Ashley. I am so in love with how it turned out!
Color Combo
I used the Fern Embossing Folder on the Bubble Bath cardstock and adhered this to the Thich Basic White card stock. On a Basic White die-cut from the Scalloped Contours Dies, I colored it with Blending Brushes and Lemon Lime Twist and Balmy Blue ink, then stamped the sentiment with Memento ink, then attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The leaves, elephants and mouse were all stamped with Memento Ink and colored in with Lemon Lime Twist, Bubble Bath, Smoky Slate and Bronze/Ivory Stampin’ Blends, then die-cut using the Elephant Dies. I also cut out the Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist grass with the Elephant Dies and all were attached to the scalloped rectangle with Stampin’ Seal and Dimensionals. The final touch was coloring a few of the Iridescent Pastel Gems with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends and adding these to the card!
