You know how much I love Fun Fold cards, right?!? Well today I’ve got an easy Fun Fold Easel card to share which features the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set and the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.
Color Combo
The Basic Beige card base measures 4-1/4″ x 11″ and is scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. This is used for the bottom and fold of the card. Next a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic Beige is adhered to the front fold (see the photo below). Thoughtful Journey DSP for the front measures 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ and the inside measures 3-3/4″ x 1″. Mossy Meadow for the matt behind the DSP on the front measures 4″ x 4″ and 4″ x 1-1/4″ for the inside. The larger layers are adhered directly onto the front panel of the card while the inside pieces are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. and this is what holds the front panel of the card in place like an easel.
The flower image was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink on a 1-3/4″ circle of Basic Beige. A Blender pen with no ink was used to color in the leaves while the flowers were colored in with Blender Pens and Petunia Pop Ink. This was then attached to a 2″ circle of Petunia Pop and adhered to the front with Dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink.
For the inside the sentiment from Thoughtful Wishes is stamped with Mossy Meadow below the DSP and the leaves are also stamped with Mossy Meadow and colored in with a Blender Pen. The card is finished off with a few of the Dragonfly & Bird Brass Embellishments.
