Have you mailed out your Christmas cards yet? I’ve got stacks and stacks of finished cards and I’m just now finding a few minutes here and there to get them signed, addressed and stamped so they can go in the mail this week. This is one of the cards I’ll be putting in the mail.
I love the color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Basic Black. It reminds me of an old time vintage Christmas. For this card I started out with a card base of Thick Whisper White and added a piece of Cherry Cobbler followed by a layer of the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. Next I added a couple of banners in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler, then wrapped a piece of the 7/8″ Striped Ribbon around these layers. Now, time for the focal point, which starts out with the sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set which I colored directly on the rubber with Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers and punched it out with the Everyday Label Punch. This was then attached to three layers of circles cut out using the Big Shot and the Layering Circles Framelits.
