Little Treat stamp set

One of my favorite stamp sets in the Holiday Mini Catalog is found near the very end of the catalog.  It’s the Little Treats stamp set!  Why is that a favorite of mine?  It’s because the set is so very versatile and I love stamp sets that can be used over and over for many different occasions.  This stamp set will not be collecting dust in your stampin’ space, that’s for sure!

I created 8 cards all using the same layout, but each card has a different focal image and covers so many different occasions.

Be sure to check out a close up of each of the cards and keep in mind many of the designer series papers I used are still on sale through the end of October.

These cards are all one of the class project kits I created for my Fall Fest Retreat a few weeks ago.  On Monday I’ll be sharing a little peak at another class project kit we did for Fall Fest.  That project kit was so popular, I’ll be offering it as a Stampin’ at Home Class for everyone, so be sure to check back then.

Layered Circle Technique

You know how sometimes things look way more complicated that they really are?  That’s certainly the case with tis Layered Circle Technique.

Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, Layered Circle Technique, Stampin' Studio

Color Combo

I get asked all the time how to figure out what colors look good together.  My answer is always to check out our wonderful Designer Series Papers and pull your color combinations from that.  For this Layered Circle Technique I knew I wanted to use the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I love the look of Pretty Peacock and Night of Navy paired with the Copper Foil.

I’ve created an easy to follow video showing how to assemble the card once you have your cardstock cut to size, so be sure to check that out.

Measurements

  • Pretty Peacock: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”

                                  2-3/4” x 2-3/4”

                                  2” x 4”

  • Very Vanilla: 4” x 5-1/4”

                              3-1/2” x ½”

  • Night of Navy: 3” x 3”

                                1-1/2” x 1-1/2”

  • Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper: 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”
  • Copper Foil: 3” X 3”

                             1-3/4” x 1-3/4”
