Magnolia Lane Suite Day 2

Wow! Based on the number of view on my blog yesterday, you are LOVING the Magnolia Lane Suite.  So, let’s check out another card created with products from the suite.

Stampin' Up! Magnolia Lane Suite, Good Morning Magnolia stamp set, Magnolia Memory Dies, Magnolia Lane DSP, Stampin' Studio

A Petal Pink card base makes a feminine statement from the start.  I stamped the large Magnolia flower on the lower right corner of the Whisper White card stock then colored it in with Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, so that it matched the look of the flowers in the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper that was attached to the left side of the card stock.  I wrapped some of the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread around the cardstock where the DSP ends.  I also added a bow made from the Linen Thread.  A simple “thanks” sentiment and a matted layer of Basic Black finish off the front of the card.  or the inside, I just added a piece of Whisper White with a band of the same DSP.  Simple, Elegant and very feminine!

Magnolia Lane Suite -Day 1

There just are not words to describe how much I love the Magnolia Lane Suite.

Stampin' Up! Magnolia Lane Suite, Good Morning Magnolia stamp set, Magnolia Memory Dies, Magnolia Lane DSP, Stampin' Studio

The Designer Series Paper is soft and feminine, with floral prints but then flip some of the papers over and you’ve got stripes and dark natural images that can be perfect for a masculine card.  The stamp set is a double cased set with 10 stamps that include gorgeous images and perfect sentiments in a beautiful font.  And, how about a set of dies to cut out your stamped images or some of the images in the DSP.  There’s even an Embossing Folder with a Magnolia flower on it.  Then let’s talk about the accessories….there is a ribbon combo pack that includes 1 3/8″ Linen Ribbon that has white edges and some Mossy Meadow Linen Thread that finished off a project perfectly.  Add to that some of the Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments.  There are flowers, leaves and even some adorable tags that can be stamped on.  What’s that…you want more…how about Memories and More Card Pack are perfect when paired with the Memories & More Cards and Envelopes to make your card making super easy and stunning. The envelopes go the extra mile in that they come with a coordinating liner.  How perfect is that?  So are you ready to see some cards I’ve designed using the Magnolia Lane Suite?  Then sit back and enjoy this week, because it’s all about the this gorgeous suite.  One card per day all week long.

This card starts off with a bold Basic Black card base which adds an elegant touch to the card.  By layering a piece of Whisper White card stock it allows all of the elements to “pop”.  The soft and delicate Petal Pink Striped DSP helps to ground the bold floral print which is softened with the use of the Petal Pink mat behind it.  I added a piece of the Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon (not part of the suite but still a must have) to add some subtle texture.  And finally the stamped Magnolia imaged layered on a circle of Basic Black.  I added soft subtle coloring with Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. You can also see that I added a piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card and added a thin strip of DSP to finish it off.
