Are you ready for the new catalog and In Colors?

Saturday was Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage Conference which was held in many locations around the globe.  We had a close family friend, who’s son got married on Saturday, so we opted for the wedding over the Stampin’ up! event.  We had a fabulous time at the wedding, but I must admit, it was sad to miss out on the reveal of the new Annual Catalog and all the presentations and time with other stampers.  About 18 members of my Stampin’ Sisters team attended On Stage in Minneapolis on Saturday and they were gracious enough to share some group photos.  Looks like they’re having a great time doesn’t it?

At the event, everyone received the new Annual Catalog and saw lots of displays and presentations of new product. My sister Peggy stopped by on her way back home to Illinois on Sunday afternoon, and brought me all kinds of special gifts from my team members.  They are some of the most fabulous people on the face of the earth.

She also shared the new catalog with me.  I got to ooh and ahh over every single page of it.  Isn’t it gorgeous?

Stampin' up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, Stampin' Studio

I am loving the rustic feel of the cover which features both feminine and masculine projects.  What’s inside you ask?  Well I can’t show you but I can tell you what my favorites are….that would be everything between the front and back covers.  Honestly this is one of the best catalogs I’ve seen in a long time.  The products are amazing and the projects are gorgeous.  Like the cover says, Creativity is calling.

Stampin' Up! 2019-2021 In Colors, Stampin' Studio

One of the things that we stampers tend to be most curious about are the new In Colors.  Every Year Stampin’ Up! retires 5 old In Colors and debuts 5 new “In Colors”.  These new colors will be part of our color palette for the next 2 years.  Sometimes it’s hard to tell from a picture how you feel about a color, but I think we’re really going to love combining these colors with some of our existing colors for some fabulous color combinations.

Let me introduce them to you- from left to right in the photo above we have:

Terracotta Tile

Rococo Rose

Purple Posy

Seaside Spray

Pretty Peacock

So by now you may be wondering, when you’ll get a chance to see the new Annual Catalog?  June 3rd is the date it goes live where we can all order from it.  But, do you want to know the good news?  As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, we all get to see it online very soon and can start ordering some of the products as early as May 2nd.  If you would like to get in on that action, all you have to do is purchase the starter kit and become a member of my Stampin’ Sisters family.  The kit is just $99 and you get to choose $125 in product of your choice and you will save a minimum of $25 on all future purchase while you remain active.  Have you got questions about that?  If so just contact me and I’d be happy to answer any questions you have.

What products are on the Retiring Products List?

With a new catalog coming, that means that some of the product from the existing 2018-2019 catalog is retiring.  I’ll update this blog post as soon as the Retiring Product List is posted.  Because retiring product is only available while supplies last, be sure to pop on over to my online store right away before your MUST HAVE ITEMS are gone for good.

Healing Hugs Floating Frame technique

When it comes to stamping, I always love to learn new techniques.  Today;s projects feature the Floating Frame Technique and with it you can create two cards at once.  So first you need to look through or kitchen, or head on over tho the grocery store from some Press & Seal Plastic Wrap.  No regular cling wrap will do, it MUST be Glad Press & Seal for this technique to work.  It’s hard to tell from the photo but there is so much depth & dimention to this card because all of the flowers and leaves are popped up.

Big News from Stampin’ Up!

We’ve got new products coming our way and with the Retiring Product List coming out on Monday, April 15th, I know you’ll want all the information about the new product announcements so you can decide how you’ll want to work your purchases now and in the upcoming weeks.

Have you heard the big news? Stampin' Studio

What are the new products?

New Paper Cutter

New Die Cutting and Embossing Machine

Because these new product announcements may soon affect product availability, I wanted to fill you in and let you know the details so you can decide on how to handle your future purchases.

  • Stampin’ Up! will be replacing the current Stampin’ Trimmer with a new paper cutter.
  • Stampin’ Up! will be replacing the Big Shot with a new Die Cutting system. This is exciting news, as it means that Stampin’ Up! will be working directly with the manufacturer to bring all of us a new die cutting / embossing machine and that we will have more direct control over the design AND availability of products!

How this may affect you

  • We don’t know exactly when the new paper cutter and new die cutting machine will be available, in fact there will be a gap in time between when the Big Shot and the Stampin’ Trimmer retire with this current catalog (or sell out) until the time when the new products are available because of this there will NOT be a Big Shot or a paper trimmer in the new 2019-2020 catalog in June.
  • If you need to stock up on some Stampin’ Trimmer supplies, do that soon. They have ordered what they hope to be a 6-month supply of trimmer blades, but they could go quickly. (Links below)
  • You can continue to use your Big Shot or other die cutting machine with all Stampin’ Up! embossing folders and dies now and in the future.
  • Watch for a new style of dies and embossing folders in the new 2019-2020 catalog!! These will work with your Big Shot or your current die cutting machine.
  • Dies, embossing folders and trimmer accessory items COULD sell out quickly, so shop early and don’t wait for the retiring list on Monday, April 15 to place your order if you have had your eye on any of the current dies or folders!

Please let me know if you have any questions on this or if you need help placing an order.

In colors that will be leaving us

Don’t forget all of the 2017-2019 In Colors listed above will be leaving us too and are available only while supplies last.  That means all of the cardstock, ink, markers, ink refills, accessories, and ribbons will be gone by June 3rd or sooner.
