Stampin’ Blends: A Splash of Color!

Our super popular Stampin’ Blends Markers are ALL available to order now.  We previously had 11 colors to choose from and then when the Annual catalog came out we got to see 9 new colors of Stampin’ Blends, but they weren’t available until yesterday!  That’s right, the 9 new colors (light & dark of each) are now available.  You can view all of the Stampin’ Blends colors on page 205 of the catalog.

You’ve seen many many samples using Stampin’ Blends here on my blog.  I’m so excited, I ordered mine as soon as I got home from work yesterday.  I love how easy it is to simply color without streaks or blend and shade with ease with the Stampin’ Blends.  Here you can see all of the new Stampin’ Blends colors available.

This or That Thursday: Detailed With Love Bundle

It’s been quite a while since I posted a This or That Thursday, so I thought it was time to do it again.  Here’s the scoop…I create a card and then using the same products, just switching the papers and colors I recreate it and we decide which is the favorite.  Both cards feature the Detailed With Love Bundle as well as a few other products from the Delightfully Detailed Suite.  Let’s take a closer look….

This card features a Bermuda Bay card base and ink with a Coastal Cabana tag.  I used the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper for both cards (just used different laser-cuts).  The center of the stamp flower features a pearl that I colored with the Light Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Marker.

That card features a base of Blackberry Bliss, and a floral pattern laser-cut.  The tag which was made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and the Detailed Trio Punch is finished off with some of the Polka Dot Tull Ribbon with the Natures Twine wrapped around the ribbon.  And this time the stamped flower is adorned with one of the Faceted Dots in Blackberry Bliss.

So…which is your favorite?

Gorgeous Grape Accented Blooms

Today’s card features the Accented Blooms stamp set in one of my favorite new color combinations; Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green.  I love how bright and cheerful this is.

The Accented Blooms stamp set is quite cool in that it features a floral image with a designated spot to stamp a sentiment.  Add to that the fact that the Tailored Tag punch coordinates perfectly with it and you’ve got a winner.

Supplies

In my card design, I chose to feature only a part of the floral images, so after stamping the image in Stazon ink, I used a Blender Pen on the flower with ink to color on various shades of the Gorgeous Grape ink and Granny Apple leaves.  The flower colored like this reminds me of the Dr. Seuss book Horton Hears a Who.  I added a panel of Granny Apple Green that was embossed with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder followed by some Whisper White Sheer Ribbon and the Thank You sentiment
