Half a million in sales!

Half Million in Sales, Stampin' Studio

I am super excited to share that as of last night, I have hit my half a million dollars in sales with my Stampin’ Up! business!  Who knew that a few stamps, ink and paper could have affected my life the way it has!  I started my career with Stampin’ Up! in September of 2003 after someone brought a Stampin’ Up! catalog into work.  I loved what I saw and decided to host a Stampin’ Up! party.  Once I had the party and got my hands on some of the great products, I was hooked and had a long wish list.  I’m a girl who’s all about a great deal and saving money, so I decided to purchase the Stampin’ Up! starter kit and become a demonstrator.  My thoughts were that I’d just do it until I had the things I wanted then I’d stop.  Fast forward 14 years later, and I’m still at it, still loving it, and thanks to all the amazing products, I still don’t have everything I want.

Thanks to you, my faithful friends and readers, for stamping with me, following my blog, ordering from me, attending my events, online classes, retreats….and on and on.  You are all amazing and I appreciate you so much.  In appreciation to all of you , for your loyalty, I am going to offer something special, so be sure to come back tomorrow when I share this with you all.  Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Sneak Peek: Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty paper

With the new Annual Catalog about 6 weeks away from it’s big debut, I thought give you a little Sneak Peek and share a card I saw on the display boards at On Stage earlier this month.  This lovely card features some new product as well as a returning and retiring product.  Let’s take a closer look….

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Day stamp set, Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, Stampin' Studio

So, you’ll quickly notice the butterfly from the returning Beautiful Day stamp set.  It’s been stamped in Basic Black ink and water colored with shades of blue and green and fussy cut around the edges and popped up on the finished card with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The pretty sentiment is from the retiring Rose Wonder stamp set.  I’m sad to see that one go.  I loved the sentiments and fonts in this stamp set.  Now, onto the new!!!!  Did you notice the delicate flowers in the background?  That’s the new Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty paper.  One side of the paper is Whisper White and one side is Very Vanilla.  These are laser cut and are gorgeous in person.  The final new product used on this card is the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, which comes in Whisper White or Very Vanilla.  This ribbon is a sheer tulle with tiny polka dots that is so easy to tie into the pretties bows.

So, as I said the new items will be available in the Big Catalog in just 6 weeks, on June 1st.  The Beautiful Day stamp set is available to order now, and the Rose Wonder stamp set as well as everything else that’s retiring is available until May 31st or while supplies last.  There are some retiring items that have sold out, so check out the list and get those must have’s ordered before they’re gone for good.

Important Information About the Bundles in the Catalog!

There’s something you need to know about the bundles in the current catalogs, but first I want to share this pretty sympathy card with you which features the Oh, So Eclectic Bundle.  This bundle includes the Oh, So Eclectic stamp set and the Eclectic Layers Thinlits.

Stampin' Up! Oh So Eclectic Bundle, Stampin' Studio

We start out with a Powder Pink card base and add a layer of Sahara Sand. I used one  of the dies from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits to cut out the little diamonds from the Very vanilla cardstock.  One set of leaves was stamped directly on the Vary Vanilla piece while the other two sets of leaves were stamped on another piece of Very Vanilla as were the flowers, then die cut with the Eclectic Layers thinlits and popped up with Dimensionals.  the sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set which is retiring.

Important News About the Bundles

Did you know that every bundle in the current catalog and Occasions catalog is retiring?  It’s true, while some of the stamp set and the framelits may be sticking around, the bundle deals on everything that’s current will be ending.  You’ll still be able to order them individually but you won’t get the bundle savings.  So, if you’re like me and you love to save money, take a look at your wish list and get your Bundles Ordered before you lose out on the savings.
