Color Revamp & Retiring Lists

Yesterday I shared a little bit about On Stage, now that the ban on showing more has been lifted, I can share all of the amazing things I came home with.  I bag filled with the new catalog, a travel mug, In Color Markers, 5 new stamp sets, ink pad, 2 rolls of ribbon, new embellishments, anew Stampin’ Blends Marker and more.

So, what’s new in the catalog?  Well, I can’t show you everything, but lets talk about one exciting thing!

THE COLORS ARE EVOLVING!

Stampin' Up! Color Revamp, Stampin' Studio

The spice of life is variety, and that’s especially true in the world of color. Stampin’ Up! makes a point to keep an eye on color trends across different markets and industries. When they see changes happening, they review our color spectrum to ensure that we remain consistently on top of the trends. This brings us to the 2018 Color Revamp!

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, they decided it was time to give our color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting. Click the link below for more information and to see which colors are staying, which are going and what’s new!

On Stage Fun!

Oh My Goodness you guys!  I spent Friday night and all day Saturday at Stampin’ Up!’s event called On Stage.  There were 1000 demonstrators at the event as well as demos at various other locations around the world.  This event was the unveiling for demonstrators of the new Annual Catalog, and let me just say there is SOOOO much in there I want, and I’m pretty sure you will too.  We aren’t allowed to show anything (not the catalog, not the products, not the samples, or even discuss what’s in it) until Today at 2:00 Mountain Time, so for now, I’ll let you in on the tings I can share.

Stampin' Up! On Stage, Stampin' Sister's team, Stampin' Studio

It was really great fun because we had 21 of our Stampin’ Sister’s Team attending the event in Milwaukee!  What a bunch of super fun people to hang out with.

It’s not mandatory, but kind of traditional to have a little goodie or treat for members of the team.  They sure went above and beyond this year, with snacks in pretty packages.

I made these Mini Suite Case Boxes for the team using the Bubble & Fizz DSP from Sale-a-bration.

Here’s what the inside of the Suit Case looks like!  Did you notice the tag?  It says” Chocolate Makes Everything Better”, my thoughts exactly.

My sister Peggy did a presentation featuring a new suite of products from the catalog.  She did a fabulous job and it was great for the team to be there to support her.

I’ll be back tomorrow to share some new stuff from the catalog, but for now I want to share a card one of my friends received as a swap at the event.

Stampin' Up! Bird Banter Circle Tab Punch, Stampin' Studio

I’m sorry I don’t know who created the card, but of course I love the Bird Banter stamp set and I think the use of the Tab Circle Punch is quite clever.

One end is secure to the back of the card…. and the other end tuck behind the front flap of the card.

Oh, I almost forgot …

Stampin' Studio Presents Stamp, Crop & Cruise

the initial response to my Stamp Crop & Cruise has been unbelievable! We went live with a soft launch for registration on Friday and I’m amazed at the interest and the number that have already registered to attend.  It’s going to be awesome!  I hope you’re considering joining us!

Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit

Yesterday was a special  day.  It was my sister Peggy’s birthday, and also her Stampin’ Up! anniversary.  She’s been a demonstrator for 14 years today, my first team member!  I made her this card for her birthday.

Stampin' Up! Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit, Stampin' Studio

I used many of the elements from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit; the flowers and leaves are silver printed vellum die cuts which I colored in with Stampin’ Blends and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots.  I added the tassels from the kit as well and tied a bow with the Silver Bakers Twine.  The silver washi  tape also comes from the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit.  There are tons of fabulous embellishments in this kit, so many that everything you create can have a different look and feel to it.

The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set.  I stamped it in VersaMark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and added some Rhinestone Jewels.

Next, I decorated the envelope flap with the coordinating Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I even embellished the inside of the card with more heat embossing, washi tape and vellum die cuts.
