Quilt Builder Framelits

Stampin' Up! Quilt Builder Framelits, Stampin' Studio

I think the Quilt Builder Framelits in the Holiday catalog are stunning, but I wanted to make a cozy fall quilt with them rather than the expected Christmas quilt.  I went straight to the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper for the color palette and the small calico looking prints.  The multi purpose Adhesive Sheets made it super easy to attach all of the small pieces and it went together in no time.  After I had the pieces all together, I ran it through the Quilt Top Textured embossing Folder to really give it a quilted look.  The Autumn Greetings sentiment, which I stamped on a thin Very Vanilla banner, comes from the Seasonal Lantern stamp set…and just like that I’ve finished my quilt!

Happiest of Days

Stampin' Up! Happiest of Days stamp set, Stampin' Studio

You know how sometimes a stamp set just doesn’t grab your attention…and then you see a card that uses it and you fall in love?  That’s how I felt when I received this card swap from Linda Pittman.  This card uses the Happiest of Days stamp set and I am so in love with the birthday wishes script and the leaves and flowers that have the look of being doodled right on there.  There are other adorable images and sentiments in this set too…and to think I never even noticed the set until I got this card!

The color palette comes from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper and this print is one of my favorites in the pack.  I love how the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder ties in with the stamped leaves by the sentiment.  And how about that pop of Lemon Lime Twist Finely Woven Ribbon...how’s that for a statement?!

Halloween Treat Tubes

Stampin' Up! Spooky Cat stamp set, Treat Tubes, Stampin' Studio

Do you want to make your Halloween treats super simple but extra special?  Well then, this project is for you!  With our Treat Tubes which come 12 to a package, all you have to do is fill them with your favorite Halloween Treat and decorate.  The image from the Spooky Cat stamp set was stamped in basic Black ink on Whisper White ink and cut out with the Everyday Label Punch.  A piece of Basic Black cardstock was also punched out with the Everyday Label Punch and layered behind the white one.  The Trick or Treat Banner was made by simply stamping the sentiment from Spooky Cat on Pumpkin Pie cardstock and cutting notches in each end.  The final touch was adding a bow tied with Basic Black bakers twine.  Honestly, it doesn’t get much cuter or easier than that!  If you’d like to order any of the products to make this project, all you have to do is click on the pictures below.
