I just have to share how much fun the new Embossing Paste & Pattern Party Decorative Masks are!  Last night I held a class at my studio where everyone received the Embossing Paste, the Palette Knives and the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and we made four cards.  Everyone agreed that these products are amazing and so easy to use!  For this card we spread the embossing paste thinly over the diamond patterned mask and Calypso Coral card stock.  Once the paste dried on the card stock (which only took a couple of minutes) we assembled the card using the sentiment and heart image from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set.  I simply adore the heart image colored in with Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist and Daffodil Delight.  The finishing touch on the card is the Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon…don’t you just love it?

A Little Wild Bundle

Stampin' Up! A little Wild Bundle, A Little Wild stamp set, Little Loves Framelits, Stampin' Studio

I think this is just the sweetest card to welcome a baby girl!  It features the A Little Wild Bundle which includes the Little Loves Framelits and the A Little Wild stamp set.  I started out by laying a piece of Powder Pink card stock on the Whisper White card base and cutting out a scalloped circle through both layers with the Layering Circle Framelits.  This allows for a hole for the adorable baby elephant to poke through.  Next I added a bit of feminine texture with the Ruffled Embossing Folder and added a bow made from the Smoky Slate Gingham Ribbon.  A few of the Glitter Enamel Dots in shades of pink complete this sweet design.

The stamp set and framelits are designed to make a little animal shaped tag card, but I wanted to use it a bit differently, so, after water coloring the elephant with Smoky Slate and Powder Pink Ink, I cut out the image with the Little Loves Framelits and then did a tiny bit of fussy cutting to separate the front and back pieces of the elephant.  On the inside of the front flap, I attached the backside of the elephant matching it up with the front half.

I love the dotted print paper from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper as it reminds me of balloons, so I took my color inspiration from it.  I finished off the card with some of the Glitter Enamel Dots in various shades of blue and some of the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon.  LOVE IT!
