A Little Pocket Change with Pocketful of Sunshine

Stampin' Up! Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle, Stampin' Studio

I’ve been playing around with the Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle a bit more and having a lot of fun with it.  The bundle includes the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set and the Pocket Framelits and it makes for some adorable cards.  I tucked some “money” (a stamped image from the stamp set) into the pocket, but just as easily (and likely more exciting for the recipient) you could tuck some real cash into the pocket.  To add a bit of texture, I sponged Dapper Denim ink on the edges of the pocket and the jeans before I heat embossed the sentiment in Whisper White Embossing Powder.

Happy Birthday Thinlits steal the show

Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday Thinlits, Stampin' Studio

Are you looking for a single product that really steals the show?  Then look no further,  the Happy Birthday Thinlits are surely the ticket!  I mean seriously, look at this gorgeous font and with the large size you don’t need much more on a card and you’ve got a winner.  For today’s card I used the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper and paired it with Dapper Denim and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for a fun background.  I also added a tiny bit of embellishment in the form of Pearls that I colored with a black Sharpie marker.

A Crate Full of Berries

Stampin' Up! Wood Words Bundle, Wood Words stamp set, Wood Crate Framelits, Stampin' Studio

One thing I really enjoy making is sweet treats, and when I can combine sweets with stamping and paper crafting, well…I’m all over it.  Last night was my monthly Suite Escape class, where we use a suite of products so that everyone gets some hands on experience with the wonderful product suites (more details about my Suite Escape in a future post).  Because I call the class my “Suite Escape” I like to serve up a little homemade “sweet” packaged up pretty.  I covered some luscious strawberries in dark chocolate and drizzled some “Lemon Lime Twist” Chocolate over the top.  After the chocolates hardened, I placed them in the tiny wood crates I made from the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper Stack and the Wood Crate Framelits.  The crates are the perfect size for 2 good sized strawberries.  I cut some Berry Burst cardstock into little slivers and crumpled them up to fill the crates.  The outside of the crates were embellished them with images and sentiments from the Wood Words stamp set.
