You know how sometimes you instantly fall in love with a product the second you see it? Well, that’s how I felt the second I saw the Cool Treats Products Suite in the Occasions catalog. The first thing that caught my attention were the colors. I mean, how can you not just love the summer shades of Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, and Pear Pizzazz? Now throw in some Chocolate Chip and I’m in heaven. Pair these awesome colors with the adorable Cool Treats stamp set and the Frozen Treats Framelits Dies and we’re set for a great time. That’s why, at our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat, we chose to do a project based on this suite of products.
Keepin’ it simple with a little soft serve cone with sprinkles. I so love the texture of the cone itself. The framelit cuts it and gives the texture in just one pass through the Big Shot.
Mmmmmm….Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream is one of my favorites.
This card reminds me of times as a kid when the ice cream truck would stop in front of our house and we got to pick from an entire assortment of cool treats.
Isn’t the Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper, so pretty? Strawberries and cherries, oh yeah!
This card kind is like a build your own Sundae Bar. It’s really hard to know when to stop.
I love how this card gives great dimension to the cool treats them selves. The cone and sticks are stamped directly on the background while the cool treats are stamped, then cut out with the framelits and popped up off the card with Dimensionals for a bit more drama.
