Stampin’ Sisters Retreat Project 4: Mini Scrapbook

Scrapbook projects are always a big hit at our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat, so this year we made a mini scrapbook using the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Hey Chick.  When it’s all folded up it measures about 4″ x 5″ and easily tucks into a purse.

By lifting up the flap and pulling out the sides it reveals a spot for a photo or journaling.

Flip the flaps down and now all the matted areas for photos are revealed.

Project 3 from the Stampin’ Sisters Retreat was this set of Fun Fold Cards.  It’s fun to make cards with different twists and flaps and unexpected surprises, so we created this project with everything designed, cut, and scored to take the worry out of creating these fun cards.

This card has an unexpected opening for sure.  The Urban Underground Designer Series Paper makes a bold statement on the front of the card.

Lift up the front flap and pull down the bottom flap to reveal some more flaps.

Once the second set of flaps are opened it reveals the inside which features the Beautiful You stamp set.

Card two in this set is a four panel card.  Looking at the card closed you can see there are multiple layers…

…but the stunning part is when the card is opened up and you see all of the elements from the Special reason Bundle and the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle.

The last card in the set features the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Designer Tee.  It looks complicated but it’s not.  Just a couple of diagonal score lines and you’re set.

Yes, you guessed it, more fun from the Stampin’ Sisters Retreat we held last weekend.  This is Project 2 which featured the Cupcakes & Carousel Embellishment Kit that everyone received as their Saturday morning gift.  We paired the embellishment kit with the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series paper Stack and a number of different stamp sets

We used some of the Gold Sequins and the Baker’s Twine with Pool Party and Gold thread from the Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit to embellish this birthday card.

For this Congratulations card we used more of the Gold Sequins from the kit as well as the adorable tassel and the Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon.

I so love the little Pool Party Bows that come in the kit.  Its so sweet on this Let’s celebrate card.  We also used some of the Iridescent Sequins.

The final card in this set used some of the So Saffron and Gold Baker’s Twine and the fabulous Very Vanilla & Gold Foil Labels from the kit.
