Delicate Details and So Very Much stamp sets join forces to create a stunning Thank You Card

FREE stamp sets!  Oh how I love this time of year…It’s Sale-a-bration time and that means everyone can choose a FREE Sale-a-bration item for every $50 in merchandise ordered.  For today’s thank you card I used not one, but two of the new Sale-a-bration stamps sets you may decide to choose.  I used the Delicate Details stamp set and the So Very Much stamp set.

So check out the lacy edges on the Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped those edges with the Delicate Details stamp set and then I did a little fussy cutting which was very quick.  I stamped another different image from the same stamp set leaving just a little bit of space between them.  By leaving that bit of space and then coloring the space with a Melon Mambo Marker, it makes it look like there’s ribbon on the top and bottom of the card.  Did I fool you?

The last step was to stamp Thank You from the So Very Much stamp set in Melon Mambo ink and sprinkle a few Rhinestone Jewels on the card and there you have it!  Tomorrow, I’ll share more samples using the So Very Much stamp set.

More creative ideas with the Window Shopping Bundle

I really enjoy finding a good deal, a bargain, a sale, how about you?  The Window Shopping Bundle offered through Stampin’ Up! is one of those deals.  Not only do you get a 10% savings when you purchase the Window Shopping Bundle (Window Shopping stamp set and Window Box Thinlits Dies), but there’s so much versatility to this stamp set and thinlits, it makes it a real bargain because you’ll be using it time and time again.  You can view my other Window Shopping Bundle posts HERE  and  HERE.

These three cards all use Sweet Sugarplum and Blushing Bride as well as the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, and were created by my friend, Cathy Sonntag.

Notice the intricate die cut along the edge of the Very Vanilla cardstock.

For this card, cathy used a few of the “not so noticeable” dies in the package.  The tiny little oval tag is part of the set as well as the banner.

Here you can see the designer paper showing through the candles.  Very sweet.

Party Favors with the Window Box Thinlits Dies

Yesterday I shared a birthday card using the Window Box Thinlits Dies and the coordinating Window Shopping stamp set.  Today I wanted to share another ideas with the Window Box Thinlits Dies.  So certainly, you can create the boxes to hold special treats or a small gift, but how about using it as a luminary by inserting a battery operated tea light inside.  Don’t you think these would make amazing party favors for a bridal shower?

Here’s another card idea using the Window Shopping stamp set and coordinating Window Box Thinlits Dies.  Both the box and the card were created by my friend Cathy Sonntag for displays at our group gathering last week.  She used the largest intricate die on the Very Vanilla cardstock and attached a piece of the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper behind it.  Next, she cut the basket from Sahara Sand card stock using another die from the same set.  Pretty clever way to get a basket filled with flowers, don’t you think?
