How to get two toned stamping & die cutting

If you haven’t already put the Window Shopping stamp set and Window Box Thinlits Dies on your “Must Have List” you’re going to want them after you see what I have to show you!  These items are sold in a bundle for a savings of 10%.  I used the Window Shopping stamp set for the greeting.  I got the two toned effect by coloring the top have of the letters with a Watermelon Wonder Marker and the lower half with a Smoky Slate Marker.

The sweet candle die cut is one of the pieces found in the Window Box Thinlits Dies.  I attached Crushed Curry card stock behind the candle flames to get the two toned effect here.  The candles are then accentuated by layering them on Watermelon Wonder card stock that’s been cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I cut an inch of the front of the card for a little interest and added a banner to the front and a strip to the inside using the Sale-a-bration Carried Away Designer Series Paper.

That’s the Tag Birthday card

I simply adore the color combinations found in the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper.  So I used a bit of that paper and pulled in a few of the colors found in the prints.  I used the stamp set called “That’s the Ticket” along with the coordinating Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies.  They’re sold at a 10% savings when you purchase the bundle.

One of my favorite things about the “That’s the Tag” Bundle is the oval framelits tag.  It’s a simple tag that has interchangeable thinlits that fit inside the oval to cut out intricate details like butterflies or stars, or the leave that I used.  I also love the variety of sentiments found in the stamp set.

Tasty Trucks Birthday Card Idea

Have you decided which FREE Sale-a-bration item is your favorite?  I really like the Tasty Trucks stamp set because you can make that food truck serve anything you’d like.  I chose to make this version a birthday truck that serves cupcakes.  One of my favorite things about the truck is the awning, because when I colored it with the Calypso Coral Marker, the awning looks just like my blog banner.  Right?
