Scarecrow Spinner Card

Cards with movement or a unique fold seem to be real fan favorites and mine too.  This fun spinner card was created by my friend Cathy Sonntag.  She has used the scarecrow from the Cookie Cutter Halloween and the Sliding Star Framelits to create this card which could be used for Halloween or a birthday or any fall event you want to celebrate.  If you haven’t checked out the Sliding Star Framelit, you really should because it makes creating a spinner card a piece of cake.  Are you ready to make a Scarecrow Spinner Card?

I’ve attached a video from Stampin’ Up! which shows how to make a Slider or Spinner card using the Sliding Star Framelits.  I’d love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think.

Paisley Framelits may just surprise you

A while back for one of my team meetings, I had asked Team member Lori Horton to create a display using a stamp set or product of her choice.  She chose The Petals & Paisleys Suite of products and this is one of the cards she created.  I think this is brilliant!  The Paisley Framelits may just surprise you with it’s versatility.  All of the little fish parts come from the Paisley Framelits while the wavy lines come from the Swirly Scribbles Framelits.  Check out all of the detail in the fish!  Isn’t this fabulous!  I’ve got a bunch of talented people on my team.

Chocolate Martini

If you know me, you know I love Chocolate Martini’s.  Here’s a Chocolate Martini anyone could enjoy!  I spent the weekend with some other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators at a business building retreat which has been fabulous.  We’ve learned so much, and laughed so hard and made some great friends.  Of course we all know that chocolate makes everything better, so why not serve it up in a huge martini glass.

I’ve been working on designing a newsletter and I’d love it if you’d subscribe to it as I’ll have great tips and inspiration for you weekly.  I’m not quite ready for you to subscribe, but stay tuned as it won’t be long.  I’ve building my business Facebook page and it would be awesome if you liked and followed it (you’ll find it by CLICKING HERE) and my newsletter.  You can also check out and follow my  Pinterest page (HERE).

This is all brand new territory for this non-technical girl, but it’s time to catch up with what’s happening in the social media world.  My husband and kids keep telling me that if I can record, edit and post videos to YouTube, I can certainly handle the other stuff too.

Thanks for visiting my blog today and I’ll tip this Chocolate Martini in honor of you my wonderful follower.
