I love the excitement young kids (well even adults) have this time of year when they’re deciding on what they’re going to be for Halloween.  I also love the choices of characters in the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set.  Here we’ve got the mummy, vampire and skeleton which are all punched out with the coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.

There is a lot of texture and dimension going on in this card featuring the Merriest Wishes stamp set. and the coordinating Merry Tags Framelits.  Notice the falling snow in the back ground from the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  We’ve also got a band of embossing from the Cable Knit Embossing folder separating the diagonal stripes of the DSP from the White background.  We’ve also got dimension in the form of the “popped up” central image which allows for shadows to form on the paper.

Perfect fall card featuring Basket of Wishes

After a week of posting photos from our Fall Fest Retreat I thought I’d share a fun card we made a club last week.  I CASED this from team member Lorri Nastala.    Let me share three things I love about this perfect fall card featuring Basket of Wishes stamp set.

1.  I love how stamping the basket and it’s contents on Crumb Cake card stock makes the coloring of the veggies look muted and natural.

2. I love the use of the Seasonal Decorative Masks for the background.  We sponged Pumpkin Pie Ink through the mask for the beautiful swirls.

3. I love how the Woodgrain Embossing Folder adds another earthy element to this fall card.
