Do you remember the last time you received a card in the mail? In a sea of junk mail and bills, a card is a simple thing that really stands out to the person who receives it. Sending a card is a small gesture that shows just how much you care about that special someone in your life. World Card Making Day is October 1 so why not celebrate by making and sending a handmade card to someone who could use a little recognition, love, or just a boost (which is anyone, really!). In celebration of World Card Making Day, from October 1-5, you can save up to 25% on card making essentials that can be used to share your love all year long!

Have some Spooky Fun

The surest way to have some spooky fun is by using the Spooky Fun Bundle.  The bundle consists of the Spooky Fun stamp set and the coordinating Halloween Scenes Edgelits.

Ready, Set, Cut

Basic Black: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″

4″ x 4″ for the die cut tree and bat

So Saffron: 4 ” x 5 1/4″

To create the harvest moon punch a circle in a scrap piece of card stock using the 1 1/4″ circle punch.  Lay the negative part of what you just punched on the So Saffron card stock and sponge pumpkin Pie ink over the circle opening.  From there all you’ve got to do is attach the tree (which you’ve cut from the 4″ x 4″ piece of Basic Black) on the So Saffron piece and wrap some of the Halloween Night Bakers Twine around these layers and tie it in a knot.  Stamp the sentiment and bats from Spooky Fun in Basic Black ink and pop the die cut bat up with a dimensional.  The final step is to attach all of this to the card base.
