I started with a card base of Blushing Bride and layered on some of the Neutral Designer Series Paper Stack in Chocolate Chip.  The cake itself is cut out using the Wish Big Framelits and I colored all over the pink frosting with Clear Wink of Stella paint to give it a festive sparkle (I know it doesn’t show up well in the photo).  The Layering Squares Framelits came in real handy to frame out the piece of cake.  The sentiment comes from Birthday Banners and is punched out with the Classic Labels Punch.

A coastal themed card to brighten someone’s day

The Seaside Shore stamp set is a perfect way to to get that coastal  feel and create a card to brighten someone’s day.

I started with the striped print in the By the Shore Designer Series Paper and added accents of Real Red in the card stock layer and the Stitched Satin Ribbon.  Next I used one of the fish images from Seaside Shore and added bubbles.  For a multi colored sentiment, I colored directly on the stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers before stamping on the Very Vanilla card stock.  The Layering Ovals Framelits come in real handy when you want to create layers with ease.

Life’s a Journey, Enjoy the Ride

Years and years ago when Dave and I were dating he had a motorcycle (not a Harley) but we sure did enjoy the ride.  This card, featuring the One Wild Ride stamp set, reminds me of those summer days on the back of his bike riding down the highway.

I used the Sparkle Embossing Folder which reminds me of the texture you’ll find on a lot of chrome tool chests.  Next the Banner Triple Punch was used for the banners and then I stamped the cycle on it.  The Sentiment was stamped and fussy cut so that I could use the Best Badge Punch to cut out the Pumpkin Pie layer behind the sentiment and get the layered look.
