Friday night a couple of my team members and I held a Summer Splash Pool Party Stamp Camp with our customers.  We had a little “pool” with rubber duckies that they could pull and win a prize from.

Everyone received a goodie bag with candy and a raffle ticket and a coupon for $5 off a purchase…

and of course there was stamping!  I just love this flip flop card.  It’s so summery don’t you think?

I drew the template for the flip flop free hand and cut them out of the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper and then punched a few holes in it to poke the ribbon through.  The flowers were stamped with Petite Petals stamp set and punched out with the Petite Petals Punch.  I used the Sunshine Sayings stamp set for the sentiment and the coordinating Sunshine Wishes Thinlit for the die cut “Sunshine”.

For the final day of inspiration with Thoughtful Branches I wanted to share this fall card.  From the Woodlands Embossing Folder to the Lots of Labels Framelits and the Beautiful Branches Thinlits to die cut those wonderful leaves, there’s a lot of texture to this card.

Anytime I pair Cajun Craze with Delightful Dijon and Old Olive the thoughts of crisp cool days of Autumn come to mind.  The scene of three trees was created by stamping the trunks in Early Espresso and then stamping the leaves in Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon and Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla Card Stock.  Next I stamped the grass in Old Olive and then I rubbed in k over it with a sponge.  Finally I sponged Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon over the card stock by rubbing the ink into the paper in a horizontal motion carefully blending the colors together to  achieve a fall sky.

Hydrangea with Thoughtful Branches Bundle

Today we’re making a hydrangea with the Thoughtful Branches Bundle.   I am so amazed by all of the different looks the Thoughtful Branches stamp set and the Beautiful Branches Thinlits allows me to create.

The stem and leaf are die cut with the Beautiful Branches Thinlits and attached to the Very Vanilla card stock with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.  The flowers are stamped in Blushing Bride with Blushing Bride ink.  It’s a bit hard to tell from the photo, but the flower has been cut out three times and stacked upon itself in order to add more depth to the die cut.  I attached some of the tiniest of the Pearls Basic Jewels to the center of the flowers and added the Blushing Bride Bakers Twine.
