Swirly Bird Flowers

Today’s card really looks like summer with these flowers created with the Swirly Bird Bundle.  Yesterday I shared a card my friend Jean made with her stampin’ friends…this one was created by Jeanne Jenner at their monthly get together.

I love how Jeanne stamped the floral images from the Swirly Bird stamp set  on the Whisper White card stock and then layered a swirly die cut flower from the coordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits directly on top to give some great depth and dimension.  The pops of Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry are what really sold me on this card because it’s so very summery.  The leaves and the splatters also come from the items in the bundle.  Jeanne finished off her card with a scattering of Basic Rhinestone Jewels.  Perfection!

Falling Flowers Bundle

Look at the beautiful card my friend Jean Schuett made using the Falling Flowers Bundle.  Jean came to the very first Stampin’ Up! workshop I did nearly 13 years ago and she’s been attending parties, classes and retreats ever since.  Jean and a few friends gather at each others homes once a moth for their own little stamp club where they each design a card that everyone gets to make.  This was Jean’s creation for July.  Isn’t it beautiful?

I love how soft and feminine the card is with the Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White.  The swirly floral vines from Falling Flowers stamp set and a delicate touch of whimsy which I love.  Notice the flowers are stamped and die cut with the May Flowers Framelits Dies which really adds some great texture and depth to the card.  The Basic Pearl Jewels finish off the center of the flowers with just a bit more femininity.  Well done Jean!

There are so many great images and sentiments in this stamp set, you really are going to need it!  On this card we started with a Whisper White base and a layer of Basic Black card stock topped with more Whisper White.  Next it is adorned with a row of Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper and the lady bug images form Love You Lots which was colored in with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker.
