The Scenic Sayings stamp set is a great set to make a statement with.  Keeping the background simple and understated allows the sentiment to become the focal point.

Scenic Sayings & Moroccan Nights

The card base is So Saffron and it’s paired with a layer of Flirty Flamingo.  The tone on tone stamping with the medallion from the Moroccan Nights stamp set adds interest to the background layer.  The “Oh Happy Days” sentiment from the Scenic Sayings set is heat embossed to really make it pop.  The final touch of the Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon and you’re finished with a spectacular card.

Can I just tell you how much fun the Baby Bear stamp set is to play with?  This is a three step stampin’ set.  That means you stamp three times on top of one another with three different images to build the bear that gives us all this dimension.

For this card the bear was stamped in Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe and Chocolate Chip.  Pare this with Pink Pirouette and Flirty Flamingo and we’ve got our self a very girly card.  Check out the sweet texture in the back ground using the Festive Embossing Folder.  Teddy is holding a heart punched from the Sweetheart Punch and embellished with the Subtles Enamel Shapes.  The finishing touch is the feminine Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon.

I’m so happy you joined us today for Watch it Wednesday, my weekly video tutorial.  Today’s video features the festive Birthday Fiesta stamp set.

Birthday Fiesta

I love how the party theme is carried throughout the card.  First of all we have the Festive Embossing Folder which adds great texture to the background.  Love those streamers!  Next we have the banner, which was die cut from the Fiesta Time Framelits, hanging across the card which is just plain FUN!  Finally the sentiment itself from the Birthday Fiesta stamp set which is stamped in multiple colors let’s you know we’re partying.
