Make it Monday: Hello fishy fishy!

It’s nother Monday, so that means I’m sharing a quick and easy card for you to make.  This card uses the Jar of Love stamp set and coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits.

Today’s Color Palette

Colors (1)Keeping it simple with the Whisper White card base and a couple 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ pieces of  paper the the corners rounded with the Project Life Corner Punch.  The Bermuda Bay card stock has been embossed with the new Seaside Embossing Folder and the pretty floral paper comes from the Bright Collection Designer Series Paper Stack.  All stamping including the sentiment all come from the Jar of Love stamp set.

We have quite a few “bee” images in our stamp sets but I think this one in the Pun Intended stamp set is really cute.

Colors (1) - Copy

Inspiration for this color palette comes from the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I think this combination is so bright and fresh, it looks like summer to me!  Notice the textures in the background crated with the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder and the Softly Falling Folder.  These textures really tie into the print of the DSP.

It’s a beautiful Saturday, so it certainly is a “happy day”.  Once again, I’m using the ever popular Swirly Bird stamp set and coordinating Swirly Scribbles stamp set for today’s card.

All of the images from the swirls, to the flowers and even the splatters come from the Swirly Bird stamp set.  The popped up flowers and the overlay swirls were created with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, while the sentiment and banner were stamped with the Thoughtful Banners set and punched out with the coordinating Classic Labels Punch.
