Brick Wall Garden

I am so in love with the details on this card I received at our Stampin’ Sisters Retreat in March.  I don’t know who created it but it’s stunning.

Botanical Builders

The background was embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder and then the mortar was drawn on with the Tip Top Taupe Marker.  The final realistic touch on the brick was to add some texture to the brick by sponging on Tip Top Taupe Ink.  The beautiful flowers are all die cut with the Botanical Builders Thinlits.

Clean & Simple: Gorgeous Grunge

I wouldn’t normally tie the phrase clean & simple with the stamp set called Gorgeous Grunge.  I mean Gorgeous Grunge features splatters and splotches and that generally doesn’t stir up images of ‘clean”.  However, this card is clean and simple and here’s why….

Gorgeous Grunge

The card base is Whisper White so you can’t get more crisp and clean than that.  Next just a small strip of the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper is added to the side for interest.  The color pallet of Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Soft Sky comes directly from the designer paper.  Add the splotches of color a few strategically placed Candy Dots and the sentiment from the Rose Wonder Bundle and we’re done.

Flowers and Lace

Don’t you love it when you find other uses for a products?

Botanical Builders Framelits

Take a close look at this card and see how the designer used one of the Tea Lace Doilies as a stencil and sponged the Wisteria Wonder ink over the doily to leave the pattern of the doily on the card stock.
