Since I have figured out how to make Stampin’ Videos, I’ve decided to add a weekly feature on my blog called Watch it Wednesday where I will feature a video of a card I’ve made. So, here we go!
This card uses the Helping Me Grow Stamp set and uses the color palate of Pool Party, Blushing Bride, and Whisper White which was taken from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.

My Stampin’ Studio has been completed for a little over a week now, and I can’t tell you how much more enjoyable it is to stamp in this environment that makes me so happy. Over the weekend I stamped just for the fun of stamping (usually I’m creating for classes and such) but this time I just stamped because I wanted too. Here’s one of the project I made.
I cut strips of various widths of paper from the Brights Color Collections Designer Series Paper Packs and some coordinating card stock. I attached the strips to a piece of Whisper White card stock on the diagonal on direction and then the other. Since the paper was diagonal, I decided to stamp the sentiment from All Boxed Up on the diagonal too. Why not, I’m stamping for the fun of it and I like it this way. I thought the addition of the three butterflies punched out using the Bitty Butterfly Punch added the perfect amount of whimsy to the card. The butterflies are adorned with the It’s My Party Enamel Dots.
I’m starting a new Series today that I’m calling Make it Monday. My plan is that most Mondays I will share with you how to use a particular product that you might not know much about. So my first product for my first Make it Monday is Washi Tape. I think Washi Tape tends to be a little intimidating for some people. Maybe you’re not quite sure how to use it…well that’s what I’m here for…to show you how to use it.
The birthday gift is made of three strips of Washi Tape from the Cherry On Top Designer Washi Tape package. All I did was cut the three strips of tape 2 1/4″ long and taped them on the piece of Whisper White card stock and there you have it the present is wrapped. I stamped the sentiment from Crazy About You in Bermuda Bay Ink in order to tie in the card base color. Next I tied a double bow using the Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon and attached it to the top of the package with a Mini Glue Dot. The background has texture which was created with my Big Shot and the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.
