I received this card as an entry to our card contest at retreat earlier this month. It’s a stunning masculine card, but unfortunately I don’t know who created this one.
The simple Black and White color palate is perfect for this manly all occasion card. The background stamp is World Map and the other images come from the stamp set called The Open Sea. I love the attention to detail like the Basic Black Bakers Twine and the 1/8″ Mini Brads in the center of the compass.
Here’s another wonderful swap I received at our retreat earlier this month. This one was made by Amanda Waldhart.
The color palate is a classic of Basic Black, Whisper White and pink (in this case the pink is Blushing Bride). The black and white designer paper comes from the Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack. Who knew something with animal prints and geometric shapes would also be great for feminine cards? The flower and sentiment both come from the Birthday Blooms stamp set. I love how Amanda carried the circle focal point into the textured layer beneath it with the use of the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.

A short little post today as I’m busy celebrating Easter with my family.
The Easter Lamb stamp is perfect for this Easter Card. I colored the lamb in with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (it just doesn’t show up well in photographs). I’ve paired Blushing Bride with Watermelon Wonder for this simple and sweet card.
