I received this card festive from team member Tina Demrow at our retreat last month.
Look closely and you’ll see that it’s a shaker card. She used one of our Cello Bags and filled it with the Brights Sequin Assortment and attached the bag behind the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper. The “Happy Birthday” was cut out using the Party Pop-Up Thinlits which is colored with an Aqua Painter and festive inks. The die cut was then attached to the front of the bag. Isn’t it great?
I promised to show you another Twist & Turn Card today so here we go.
This card features the same Twist & Turn fold I used in yesterdays card. My color palate comes from the English Garden Designer Series Paper and features Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Whisper White. The Botanical Builders Framelits are the main design element and perfectly compliment the designer paper.
Here’s another card we made at my Fun Folds Class this week. It’s called a Twist & Turn card.
I knew I wanted to use the Apple of My Eye stamp set and I remembered that one of our designer papers had cherries on it. My task was to figure out which one! I looked through everything, all of the 12″ x 12″ packs anyway, and I couldn’t find the cherry paper. Then I remembered the 6″ x 6″ paper stacks and low and behold I found the cherry print in the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack (go figure)! So my color palate became Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Basic Black and Whisper White. I love how it looks so much like spring with the cherries and bright pops of color.
