Here’s a quick and cute card using the Birthday Blooms stamp set.
My color palate came from the very feminine Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. A few stamped images from the Birthday Blooms stamp set creates some visual interest on the back ground. The card is then finished of with a piece of Pool Party Glitter Ribbon and a sentiment from the same stamp set adorned with the 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch.

First of all a piece of Crushed Curry card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Confetti Embossing Folder to give some wonderful texture to the background. Next I layered a piece of the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper on the left. Check out the coordination of the paper and the embossing. The sentiments and little stamped images all come from the Party Wishes stamp set and were punched out with the Party Punch Pack. It was super simple to punch rather than “fussy” cut each of those itty bitty cup cakes, and the candle and balloon.
Like peanut butter & jelly or milk & cookies, Perfect Pairings stamp set and Flowering Fields stamp set go together!
Today’s card features two Sale-a-bration choices: Flowering Fields and Perfect Pairings. I colored with Stampin’ Write Markers directly on the Flowering Fields image and stamped it on the Whisper White card stock. Then, using a Blender Pen I colored over the image for very light hues of Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss. The sentiment is from Perfect Pairing and is stamped in Blackberry Bliss. I strip of Blackberry Bliss paper from the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack and some Old Olive Bakers Twine and we’re done.
