I hope your thanksgiving was wonderful.  We had a house full which was great fun.  So now that Thanksgiving is gone, we are officially into the Christmas Season, so here’s another card from my Stamp-a-stack last week.
 
 
Once again the Softly Falling Embossing Folder adds such subtle texture to the Night of Navy card base.  I stamped the scenery from the Happy Scene’s stamp set in Night of Navy Ink and layered in on Night of Navy and Silver Foil Paper.  The sentiment also comes from the Happy Scene’s set .  The final touch is the Silver Foil star which I cut out with the Stars Framelits.
 
Happy Scene’s is one of the many products that are on the retiring list from the Holiday Catalog.  The items on the retiring lit are only available while supplies last so be sure to CHECK THEM OUT HERE.

Jolly Snowman

This is one of the cards we made at my Christmas Stamp-a-stack this week. 
This months Stamp a-stack featured Red Foil Paper, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Silver Foil and the Home for Christmas Enamel Dots.

 
 
 
I started out with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder for background texture.  Next was the Red Foil Paper made into a tag using the Ornate Tag Topper and some 1/8″ silver ribbon.   The snowman himself was cut out of Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper with the Snow Friends Framelits and topped with a top hat cut from Basic Black card stock.  I tucked a Silver Metallic Doily behind the snowman and embellished his hat with one of the Home for Christmas Enamel Dots.  The final touch is the Silver Foil “jolly” that I cut out with the Seasonal Framelits Dies ad the Precision Plate which makes cutting out those detailed dies a piece of cake.
