Happy Birthday Butterfly: Tin of Cards

Here’s the third card in the series made from the Tin of Cards.

Again, I only used parts and pieces from the Tin of Cards kit and the coordinating Tin of Cards stamp set.  The butterfly is a punch out die cut piece in the kit.  I tied a bow with the Black Bakers Twine from the kit and attached to the butterfly.  The dotted Window Sheet is attached with Glue Dots and I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment on a banner of Daffodil Delight.
I’ll share the final card in the series tomorrow.

More from the Tin of Cards

Yesterday I shared a card I made with the supplies from the Tin of Cards Kit and I have a few more I wanted to share.

I got creative with the kit and designed a few new cards.  It’s kind of hard to tell from the photo but the white dotted piece is actually a printed window sheet that I attached to the inside of the cut out window.  I also attached a piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside of the card.  A tiny bit of “Curly-Q” stamping, some tiny banner flags and simply attaching the pre-printed “Hello” finished off this quick card.  I’ve got two more cards that I’ll share with you over the next two days, so be sure to come back.

Also, don’t miss out on the big stamp sale as it’s almost over.

Tin of Cards Redo

So I was playing around with the fabulous kit called Tin of Cards.  Have you seen it?  It’s featured on the front cover of the Big Annual Catalog, and it is fantastic.  The kit, which comes in a storage tin, has supplies and accessories to make 16 cards (4 different designs 4 times each), as well as file dividers to organize all your different types of cards.

So as I said, I was playing around with the kit and I designed a few new cards using only the supplest in the kit as well as the stamp set that was created to go with the kit.  The stamp set is appropriately called Tin of Cards.

Here’s the first  cards I created.  In the photo the one banner on top appears to be black, it’s actually gold.  I popped the “frame” up with Dimensionals and attached the “Congratulations” circle, which comes preprinted, and finally the 2 Gold Glimmer Paper hearts which are also part of the kit.
I’ve got a few more creations made form the kit, so check back over the next few days to see them.
