Garden in Bloom

I’ve been super busy in my Stampin’ Studio creating all kinds of fun projects with new product getting ready for a demonstrator Make & take this Friday.  For this get together Peggy (my sister) and I design a total of 20 cards featuring brand new stamp sets, accessories, and Designer Series Paper.  I had one big order arrive on Thursday and I have more orders coming today, so this is really like Christmas.

So today’s card features a great new stamp set called Garden in Bloom.”  It’s a super easy 2-Step Stampin’ set with pretty Images and beautiful font.  The Designer Series Paper is the gorgeous English Garden DSP.  Go ahead and put both the stamp set and the DSP on your wish list right now, cause you’re gonna wan them for sure.

Shaded Leaves

The stamp set is “World of  Dreams” and what I find so amazing about this card is the shading on the leaves.  The stamp itself has no shading designed into it but by coloring the Stampin’ Write Markers directly onto the stamp and then using a blender pen to remove some of the ink from the leaves, the shadowing occurs.  The spatters on the card which give it an aged appearance is achieved by filling an Aqua Painter with water, dipping the tip in reinker and splattering it on the card.  The paper piercing along the edge and the Linen Thread finish the card beautifully.

Baker’s Box Thinlits

I love this little box made with the Baker’s Box Thinlits.  It’s the perfect size for treats like cupcakes.  The finished box measures 4 1/8″ tall x 2 1/8″ x 2 5/8″

Before assembling the box it was stamped with the “I Think You’re Great” stamp set.  The tag on the front is one of the thinlit dies that comes in the package.  Once the treat goes in side  this box is finished off with a decorated close pin closure.  How adorable is that?

Would you like to see more on the Baker’s Box Thinlits?  I thought you might and so did Stampin’ Up!  In fact they put together a video just for you.
