Happy Birthday From the Herd

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love the guys in his image.  They crack me up!  The stamp set is “From the Herd” and rather than coloring the entire image in, this card uses the Memento Ink, Basic Black Marker and one of the Skin tone Blendabilities on the faces of the critters.  It coordinates beautifully with the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper, and I’m sorry, but how can you look at this and not smile?

Twitterpated!

With Valentines Day less than 2 weeks away, I thought I’d start sharing some Valentines Day cards.  This one features the products in the You Plus Me Bundle.  When you purchase the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack and the You Pus Me stamp set, you save 15%.
All three of the DSP prints come from the Stacked with Love DSP and they look so cute together.  If you haven’t really looked at this paper check it out.  One side is hearts and very “valentiney” looking while the other side is black and white and totally appropriate for paper crafting all year long.

Birthday Bash

Here’s a fun card fold, Peggy made using the new Chalkboard Paper and Colorbox Chalk Ink.  The “Birthday Bash” stamp was stamped on Chalkboard Paper with the Yellow Citrus Chalk ink.  It’s a little hard to tell from the photo but the front panel lifts up instead of the entire front like a typical card would.  To achieve this Bermuda Bay card base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at
4 1/4″.  The front flap is then cut 1″ from each outside edge.  These two 1″ flaps are then attached to the inside of the card with snail (so these two flaps don’t open.  Just the center flap opens).  Thin strips of Birthday Bas DSP are attached to each side flap and voila’ you’re done!
