A layer or two, a bit of stamping, and an embellishment is one of the easiest way to get an impressive card.  For this quick card I used the Ornamental Pines stamp set with Mossy Meadow pine boughs, Soft Suede pine cones and a Cherry Cobbler greeting.  I decided to tie it up with a big bow using the Cherry Cobbler 1″ Sheer Linen Ribbon.
 
I enjoy making lots of different Christmas cards to send out rather than making just one card 85 times.  How about you, do you stick with one design or do you do a bunch of different ones?

Simple Christms Bauble

I really liked the Christmas Bauble stamp set when I saw it in the Holiday catalog.  I thought it would be beautiful to color in with the Blendabilities, which it is, but when I started playing around with it, I found I liked a simpler version better.  For this card I used the Momento ink on Crumb Cake card stock and colored in just the berries and leaves with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Blendabilities.  I also stamped the image a second time and cut out just the leaves and berries and popped this up with a dimensional.  I used a small strip of the Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper and finished things off with a little Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.

It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

This card reminders me of Charlie Brown’s “Great Pumpkin” holiday special.  I remember watching the special every year as a kid.  This card was designed by my team member Tina D.  I love the sparkly ghost cut out of Silver Glimmer paper with the Fall Fun Framelits.  The grass was made using the fringe scissors and that fence is strips of card stock stamped with the “Hardwood” stamp set.
