Isn’t this a fun little project?  This was the shoebox swap Peggy M. shared with us at the Girls Weekend Getaway. I figured with less than two weeks until Halloween, I’d better share some more of the Halloween projects I have.  I love the mix of stamp sets we used.  The witches hat, dress and shoes comes form the “Tee-Hee-Hee” stamp set, the bat, monster and cat comes from the “Freaky Friends” stamp set and the “Fright Night” comes from the “Frightful Wreath” stamp set.

“FOR ALL THINGS” CARD KIT

 

Yesterday I shared a card using the “Thumping” technique, and I thought I’d share one more today.  This uses the “Thanks” stamp from the Seasonally Scattered stamp set and was designed by my friend Cathy S, (she shared it with us at our Girls Weekend Getaway).  The entire stamp is inked up in Crushed Curry and “thumped” with Cajun Craze and Old Olive markers directly onto the stamp before stamping on the Whisper White card stock.  The pumpkins are from the Fall Fest stamp set and are stamped in Pumpkin Pie and the edge is sponged with Cajun Craze prior to stamping.  The pumpkins were then cut out using the coordinating Framelits from the Fall Fun Framelits.

“FOR ALL THINGS” CARD KIT

 

I love me a card that has some sparkle and shine!  For this card I used a thumping technique.  I inked up the “Merry” from Seasonally Scattered stamp set in Soft Sky ink, then I used Marina Mist and Night of Navy markers and tapped the brush tip end of the marker all over the stamp itself before stamping on the Whisper White Card stock and voila I ended up with a multicolored snow storm with the stamped image.  I threaded one of the All is Calm Snowflake Embellishments on to a piece of 1/8″ silver ribbon and stamped a greeting from the Watercolor Winter Too in Night of Navy.  Too add a bit more bling to this card I layered it on our Silver Glimmer Paper.  It’s a quick and easy, yet very special card.
