Slim Sayings stamp set

Today’s card is super simple, no punching, no die-cutting, just a stamp, some paper, ink and a few embellishments.  I love this sentiment from the Slim Sayings stamp set – it says it all!

Stampin' Up! Slim Sayings stamp set, Flowering Fields DSP, Stampin' Studio

Color Combo

Once again, my color combo came from the designer series paper, the Flowering Fields DSP to be exact.  For the sentiment, I used a sponge dauber to “pounce” the ink on the words; Fresh Freesia , Highland Heather and Rich Razzleberry.   I added the Fresh Freesia Ribbon and a few of the Pastel Pearls.

I would LOVE for you to join me for my weekly Facebook Live on Wednesday at 6:00 Central Time. I’ve got a fun project to share with you and I’m doing a give away for those joining me live.  You can find me HERE

Ranunculus Romance

How about a feminine card with a touch of nostalgia today?  The Ranunculus Romance stamp set evokes a real feminine feel with the beautiful flower and the hand written script image.

Stampin' Up! Ranunculus Romance stamp set, Stampin' Studio

Color Combo

The base of the card was textured by running the card front through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery Die.    The script image is rather small, so I just stamped it over and over again on a long piece of Very Vanilla and sponged the edges before popping it off the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The flower was colored directly on the stamp with Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers, then stamped on the Very Vanilla cardstock and die-cut with the Ranunculus Dies and then attached to the label which was die-cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Die.  I tucked a small folded piece of the Blushing Bride Cotton Ribbon under the edge of the label and secured it with a Mini Glue Dot.  The finishing Touch was the addition of three of the Elegant Faceted Gems.

My weekly Facebook Live is every Wednesday, that’s tonight!  I have a new time for the LIVE, it’s 6:00PM Central Time and I sure hope you’ll enjoy me.  This week I will be sharing how to make a floating card using our Window Sheets (Acetate).  You can find my Facebook Live HERE
